About the mod

TheQuestForge - adds a customizable quest system to the game, which can be configured in Json files.

While the mod doesn't depend on other mods, it's still recommended to play with other mods after creating quests for them, as TheQuestForge itself only adds two items to the game required for its functionality:

  • Quest book - an item for the player to see their current quests and their progress.
  • Recipe:
  • Quest_book_craft
  • Quest compass - when you click the button in the quest book, the compass will point in the direction of the quest giver for that quest, allowing you to find it.
  • Recipe:
  • Quest_compass_craft

This is because this mod is more of a content creation tool for builds or single-player playthroughs than a standalone modification.
