Configuration Guide

The mode has 2 configs:


Server

These contain values ​​that affect quest generation.

  • "quest_giver_chance" - This is the chance that the spawned entity will become a quest giver. Default: 35, Min: 0, Max: 100.
  • "attempts_to_create" - How many times the generator will attempt to find a quest template and create the quest itself before giving up. Default: 50, Min: 10, Max: 300.
  • "max_remembered_npcs" - How many NPC dialogues are assigned to the player (If an NPC forgets you and you haven't accepted the quest from them, the dialogue with the NPC will restart from the beginning). Default: 128, Min: 2, Max: 2048.
  • "time_to_reset_npcs" - The number of in-game days after which an NPC's quest is reset, and the player's old quests are discarded. A value of 501 disables quest resets and refreshes. Default: 40, Min: 1, Max: 501.
  • "uncommon_quest_rarity" - Chance of a quest being uncommon rarity. Default: 30, Min: 0, Max: 100.
  • "rare_quest_rarity" - Chance of a quest being rare. Default: 25, Min: 0, Max: 100.
  • "epic_quest_rarity" - Chance of a quest being epic rarity. Default: 10, Min: 0, Max: 100.
  • "legendary_quest_rarity" - Chance of a quest being legendary Default: 5, Min: 0, Max: 100.
  • "give_out_experience" - Give experience to the player after completing a quest? Default: true.
  • "give_out_currency" - Give a monetary reward to the player? Default: true.
  • "use_villager" - Can vanilla villagers be quest givers? Default: true.
  • "generate_anyway" - If a quest from this mob's pool is not found, use the "none" pool as a backup? Default: true.
  • "common_item_multiplier" - Multiplier for increasing the required objectives and rewards of common rarity quests Default: 1.0, Min: 0.1, Max: 10.
  • "uncommon_item_multiplier" - Multiplier for increasing the required objectives and rewards of uncommon rarity quests Default: 1.13, Min: 0.1, Max: 10.
  • "rare_item_multiplier" - Multiplier for increasing the required objectives and rewards of rare rarity quests Default: 1.2, Min: 0.1, Max: 10.
  • "epic_item_multiplier" - Multiplier for increasing the required objectives and rewards of epic rarity quests Default: 1.4, Min: 0.1, Max: 10.
  • "legendary_item_multiplier" - Multiplier for increasing required objectives and rewards for legendary quests Default: 1.5, Min: 0.1, Max: 10.
  • "currency_id" - A guaranteed monetary reward for any quest Default: "minecraft:emerald".

Client-Side

This contains the visual component settings.

  • "camera_zoom" - Use zoom when initiating dialogue between the player and NPC. Default: true.
  • "camera_parallax" - Use parallax when initiating dialogue with NPCs. Default: true.
